What to Eat Before a Workout

Eat a nutritionally balanced meal 1-2 hours before your workout.  

Some options include:  

-Herbalife Meal Replacement shake

-Oatmeal with fresh fruits

-Egg whites

-Banana with natural almond or peanut butter toast 

-Hearty Salad

-Yogurt with whole grain cereal and fruit



Snack options to eat 60-90 minutes before your workout.

-Herbalife Meal Replacement shake

-1-2 eggs and 1 slice of whole wheat toast

-Natural peanut butter and 1 medium apple

-Fruit and 1/2 cup cottage cheese



DON'T eat right before a workout.  Give yourself 30 minutes or longer.

DON'T eat too much fiber or drink too much water. It can cause bloating or muscle cramping.

DO eat good sources of complex carbs that will energize you
